General Information
The AAA is a series of conferences with a long tradition in general algebra and related fields, taking place twice a year in various locations in Europe. The 85th AAA meeting was held in Luxembourg during January 31 through February 2, 2013 (arrival January 30), hosted by the University of Luxembourg.
The topics of the conference included, but were not limited to:
- universal algebra and its applications in computer science,
- classical algebra,
- lattices and other ordered algebraic structures,
- connections of algebra to logic, model theory and combinatorics,
- applications of algebra.
The scientific programme of the conference consisted of five plenary talks given by the main speakers and of forty shorter contributed talks. The language of the meeting was English.
