Call for contributions

The goal of ISAS (International Symposium on Aggregation and Structures) is to give the opportunity to researchers to present and discuss their latest (theoretically grounded) results about aggregation and structures, and to identify new trends in the field. The topic has to be understood in a wide sense: aggregation on structures and aggregation of structures. It includes, but is not limited to

  • aggregation (and related) functions on partially ordered sets (lattices,...);

  • aggregation of structured data;

  • algebraic approaches in aggregation theory;

  • general properties of aggregation processes;

  • algorithmic and complexity aspects of aggregation processes;

  • functional equations and inequalities for aggregation theory;

  • judgment aggregation;

  • (theoretically grounded) applications of the preceding topics to social choice, decision making, machine learning, preference modeling as well as other fields of science.

Abstracts of contributions (maximum 2 pages) should be submitted by April 1 2016 by e-mail to isas@uni.lu, with subject "Abstract ISAS" specified. Every submission will be acknowledged.

All submitted abstracts will be subjected to the same peer-review procedure. Notifications are expected to be sent around April 15 2016. For an abstract to appear in the book of abstracts, at least one author should participate at the symposium to present the contribution.

Abstracts should be prepared in English with LaTeX using the LLNCS document class.
