Venue & info

The workshop will be held on the new Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg. The Campus can be reached conveniently by train from Luxembourg-Ville. Trains from Luxembourg Gare Centrale (Central Train Station) to Belval-University depart every 15 minutes and take about 30 minutes. Public transportation in Luxembourg is cheap and reliable; taxis are very expensive

The Mathematics Research Unit is situated on Campus Belval in the building MNO (Maison du Nombre ) and occupies the 5th and 6th floor.
All lectures take place in the building MSA (La Maison du Savoir ), room MSA 3.530 (3rd floor).

Travel

By plane

Luxembourg airport is connected by regular flights to all main European destinations. Bus line 16 takes you in about 20 minutes from the airport to the city centre and the Central Train Station. From the Central Train Station you take the train direction Esch-Belval (you exit at Belval-Université). You may buy a bus ticket (2 Euro) in the bus from the driver; the ticket is valid also in the train to Belval.

By train

There are direct trains (TGV ) from Paris which take approximately 2h to reach the city of Luxembourg. Trains from Brussels to Luxembourg run hourly and take approximately 3 hours. To check train connections you may follow the following link.

Accommodation

Participants of the conference (if not informed otherwise) are accommodated in Hotel Ibis Esch Belval on Campus (in 300 m walking distance to the conference site).
