About me

I am a mathematician. I did my PhD in mathematics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Eric Jespers and Prof. Ángel del Río from the University of Murcia. I have worked for 6 years doing research as a postdoc in pure mathematics. Besides my mathematical research, I am and have always been very much interested and engaged in science popularization, with a lean towards mathematics.
That is why in septembre 2020, I started as a STEM-Expert at the Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET). I am employed as a postdoctoral researcher on the PITT (Programme for Innovative Teaching and Training) project. In this project, we develop resources for highschool teachers that give innovative impulses for contemporary lesson design at Luxembourg secondary schools. PITT's teaching resources are intended as incentives to try out new things and to think differently about teaching. As a STEM Expert, I am in charge of the science resources and my intend is to make a link between the pupil's school program and research and innovation in Luxembourg. I have finished 5 modules for the new school subject "Sciences Digitales", which can be found at our homepage. Now I am working on resources for the mathematics class.
