Show that the marked triangle is a right triangle



The side of the marked triangle passing through \(A\) and the segment \(BC\) is the height of the equilateral triangle \(ABC\) passing through \(A\).
Thus it is perpendicular to the side \(BC\).
Hence the marked triangle is a right triangle.
