The figure consists of two circular arcs with different centers but same radius: a larger outer arc and a smaller inner arc. The arcs share the same start and end points and one arc passes the center of the other arc, and together they form a crescent moon shape.
COMMENT: We suppose that the radius of the circle is \(1\) because it is easy to rescale lengths and areas.
