Show that the marked triangle is isosceles



The triangle \(ABC\) is isosceles because it has a symmetry axis.
The perpendicular bisector of the side \(AC\) halves the square so it contains \(B\).
The symmetry at this line fixes \(B\) and swaps \(A\) and \(C\) hence it fixes the triangle \(ABC\).
