As a member of the SML, you support Mathematics and mathematicians in Luxembourg and efforts to get backing for mathematics from Luxembourg and European institutions.

You benefit from

• a reduced fee (25€ instead of 50€) for your membership in the European Mathematical Society (this membership includes inter alia a free subscription to the Zentralblatt MATH, to the EMS newsletter; view all benefits )
• discount (about 50 %) on American Mathematical Society and Spanish Mathematical Society membership dues (membership in the AMS includes a free subscription to the AMS notices and the Bulletin of the AMS)
• a reduced annual membership fee of 50€ for the Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung (for SML members which have their regular residence outside of Germany). The benefits of a full DMV membership include the DMV Mitteilungen and another Journal of the DMV (e.g. Jahresbericht der DMV). Vice versa members of the DMV can become members of the SML for the reduced fee of 10€
• reduced registration fee for SML co-sponsored meetings
• discount on the subscription to the Journal “Travaux mathématiques” co-edited by the SML

For new members: Payment of the membership fee is to be accompanied by the signed application form (below).

SML members can benefit from the reduced membership fee in the European Mathematical Society (EMS). SML members can pay the reduced membership fee of 25€ (instead of 50€) to the above mentioned bank account, stating the reference: Your NAME, "European Mathematical Society"

To apply, please print out and complete our application form and send it to the address mentioned below. Please do not send any money with the application form. Your Membership will become effective with the approval of the Executive Board and the receipt of the membership fee.
