Have a look.

Location

University of Bristol, United Kingdom.

The event is sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute.

Description

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers developing and using algorithms in the field of modular forms and automorphic forms (broadly understood).

At the workshop there will be lectures and practical sessions with the aim of interchanging ideas, algorithms and implementations, as well as making them accessible to the mathematical public.

The programme will include:

Participants will be very much encouraged to make their code available, to write documentation as well as to provide a list of insightful examples. Program code is acceptable in any programming language or any computer algebra system. An online resource will be produced.

Possible topics include: overconvergent modular forms, Hilbert and Hilbert-Siegel modular forms, algebraic modular forms à la Gross, various weight one forms, Galois representations attached to modular forms, imaginary quadratic modular forms, Drinfeld modular forms, half-integral weight modular forms, mod p^n modular forms, fundamental domains, etc.
