Visa
Luxembourg belongs to the Schengen countries.
Citizen of the Schengen countries do not need a visa.
Furthermore
Passport holders from the following countries
do not need a visa to visit Luxembourg or
other Schengen countries: Andorra, Argentina,
Australia, Bolivia, Brunei, Bulgaria,
Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia,
El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras.
Israel, Japan, Republic Of Korea,
Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mexico,
Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaraqua,
Panama, Paraguay, Romania,
San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland,
United States, Uruguay, Vatican and Venezuella.
Nationals of countries not mentioned above will need a visa to visit Luxembourg

Accommodation
Please note
that Monday August 31, 2009 is the first day of the school and
Saturday September 5, 2009 the last day (in fact at this day
is a day of excursion.
Hence count August 30 as arrival day and September 6, as departure
day, or as day between the school and conference.
Most of the invited speakers and supported participants will
be accommodated in the Hotel:

The school/conference will take place at the University of Luxembourg, Campus

Registration will be in Batiment de
Recherche B (BRB) in the meeting room at the ground floor.
A limited number of rooms in this hotel are blocked for
those partipants which will make their own arrangements.

Travel to and from Luxembourg
The
Luxembourg airport
is connected by regular flights to all main destinations.
From the airport there is a regular bus connection to the city.
Bus No. 16 (Eurobus) runs every 10-15 minutes during the day
between Airport and the central train station. It takes 25 minutes.

Of course taxis are also available.
The Frankfurt-Hahn airport,
is served by low-cost flights
to many European destinations.
A regular bus service, operated by Flibco,
connects the Frankfurt-Hahn airport with the central train station.
