Cross sections of a cube
Let's cut a cube with a plane. The intersection between the cube and the plane is a plane figure that is called cross section of the cube.
Any cross section of a cube is bounded (because the cube is bounded) and it is convex (because both the cube and the plane are convex). But there are many bounded and convex plane shapes that are not cross sections of the cube!
Which shapes can be cross sections of a cube?
