Many busses go every few minutes from the main train station (Gare Centrale) to Campus Kirchberg through the city centre (Hamilius/Royal) and back.
If you needed to remember only two bus numbers, these would be 1 and 16.
Gare Centrale ⇝ City Centre (~ 5–10 minutes)
Go to Quai 9 outside of Gare Centrale and take any bus there (lines 1, 7, 16, 120, 125, 144, 172, 192, 194, 195) to "Hamilius".
Gare Centrale ⇝ Campus Kirchberg (~ 15–25 minutes)
Go to Quai 9 outside of Gare Centrale and take any bus there.
City Centre ⇝ Campus Kirchberg (~ 10–15 minutes)
Go to Quai Hamilius 1 and take any of the busses 1, 7, 16, 120, 125, 144, 172/192, 194, 195 there.
Airport ⇝ Campus Kirchberg (~ 10 minutes)
Take bus line 16 and get of at "Kirchberg, Coudenhove-Kalergi", go up Rue Coudenhove-Kalergi for about 100m, the main entrance is on your left.

Luxembourg airport is connected by regular flights to all main European destinations. Bus line 16 takes you in about 10' from the airport to the campus (bus stop Coudenhove-Kalergi) and in about 20' to the city centre.
Frankfurt-Hahn airport and Brussels-Charleroi airport are served by low-cost flights to many European destinations. A regular bus service connects the two airports to the main train station of the city of Luxembourg.
There are direct trains (TGV) from Paris which take approximately 2h to reach the city of Luxembourg. Trains from Brussels to Luxembourg run hourly and take approximately 3 hours. There are also direct trains from Metz-Ville taking less than 1h and running every half an hour throughout the day. From Bonn the train takes about 3h (change in Koblenz). Accommodations for speakers will be reserved by our secretaries.
We ask all other participants to make their own hotel reservations in Luxembourg City.

(Next to the Kirchberg campus, outside of the city center).

On the campus free wifi internet access will be provided to registered participants. For participants with an European eduroam account the internet can be accessed throught it at the Luxembourg university.
The conference dinner will take place on Thursday 12 January at 19h30
at
Restaurant La Lorraine in Place d'Armes.
Participants will be asked for a small financial contribution.
There are several restaurants and snacks on avenue Kennedy and around, within 10-15 min walk.
