The picture shows an equilateral triangle with a line going from one side of the triangle to another side, such that the parts sharing the same vertex of the triangle are twice the length of the other part, and a line going from one intersection point of this line with the triangle to the opposite vertex of the triangle.
COMMENT: We suppose that the length of the triangle side is \(1\) because it is easy to rescale lengths and areas.
