This engaging session traced the rich history of AI, redefining its broad scope and examining the interconnections among various subdomains, such as Machine Learning and Generative AI.

The goal of the talk was to "demystify Artificial Intelligence by taking the listener on a friendly stroll through its different facets". Prof. Ley emphasised, "A basic understanding of statistics is essential for everyone, especially in our modern times, as statistics is one of the basics of AI".
